Neil is an insolvency practitioner, solicitor and commercial finance broker who has been providing sensible, practical debt, restructuring and insolvency advice and solutions to businesses and individuals for over 25 years.
He has worked with a variety of stakeholders, including business owners, business advisers, lenders, creditors and investors, creating innovative solutions, focussed on preserving stakeholder value in a balanced and objective manner.
Neil has worked extensively in the property & construction sectors but also has a wide range of sector experience from acting as officeholder in an insolvent law firm to rescuing holiday and leisure parks and sports and social clubs and venues.
Neil is currently Administrator of a number of construction subcontractors in the rail sector, one of which he has continued to trade to finish off outstanding its outstanding contracts. Neil has also advised construction businesses on rescue procedures, including Company Voluntary arrangements, where he has acted as Supervisor.
Outside work Neil is a keen road cyclist and also plays rugby and golf. He says he is a football fan and admits to supporting Everton FC! He is also a keen amateur chef.
Neil was Liquidator of Southmead Rugby Club in Bristol in 2015 and negotiated a rescue plan with the RFU and other stakeholders, which resulted in all creditor claims being satisfied within the small window of time that ensured the club survived without any points deduction for going into liquidation, giving it a platform to secure its league survival that season.
